What an exciting time for Adventure Instead. After revolutionizing the industry and reawakening the possibilities of what a modern-day elopement can look like, your company is now maturing to new heights. It’s time to refresh your brand and voice to match your new dreams — heightening the importance that elopements don’t always have to equal or be confined to intense adventure. Your passion lies in making your couples feel safe and welcome to celebrate their love in an intimate setting, finding beauty in the outdoors, and freedom in breaking the traditional mold of what a wedding has to look like.

Having the honor of working alongside your team for a few years now, it’s time that Adventure Instead has a video that encompasses this new energy and inspires future couples to take part in an elopement that feels like them through and through, without doubt, limitations, or expectations. 

Since 2019, we filmed five elopements together in the mountains of Colorado, to the beautiful landscape of Moab, Utah. I’ll use footage from those elopements to create a video that encompasses the new dream of what it means to elope.

I know we chatted details briefly over the phone so the above collection is simply a starting point! Given your vision for the video, I feel like standard BTS of you, Amber, and Tori shooting will take away from the overall emotional impact we’ve discussed, especially since we’re wanting to steer clear of that “traditional” photographer brand video feel.

From a logistical standpoint and thinking out loud here, if you wanted BTS, would the three of you need to be shooting separate mock elopements? I feel really confident pulling footage from the elopements we’ve shot, but I could also come to the shoot on the 22nd to get artsy shots of the 3 of you to be able to incorporate? I’m not confident I have any footage with any of you in it from the 5 elopements we’ve shot together.

I know budget and time are not necessarily on our side for this, but I want to collaborate and do anything I can to make this as special as I know it can be.
